Fly on the wall at a Ferrari workshop

Being given the task of collecting a Maserati 4200 from the menders, I didn´t have to think twice about bringing the camera. The menders in question were no other than Autostrada Sport, one of few Ferrari garages in Norway. They also do labour on other high-performance machines, such as Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Maserati... in short, if you´re in Norway and you want to have a look at the worlds most exotic machines, take a trip to the western suburbs of Oslo and pay them a visit. You won´t regret it.

In addition to servicing all luxury brands, they host a small showroom where you can experience the near-perfect craftsmanship of ludicrously expensive Italian interior.

Norway is a very uptight country, with a generally boring mindset when it comes to cars. Most people whiff around in VAGs or Toyotas, and scowl at anybody driving a car that produces more co2 than their pet dog.

It´s wonderful, then, to sit down in a soft, red-leathered chair in a Ferrari garage, waiting to collect a newly-serviced Maserati. Even if it´s not mine.

Automotive photography served with a side of motoring journalism

This blog has been created as a general creative outlet both photowise and writing. I try to emphasize the dramatic aspects of my photo objects in various ways, and if I have anything to say about them (or other things), I probably will. Please feel free to leave a comment. Enjoy..!
